Smart Investors Keep it Simple: Official Review

The book, Smart Investors Keep It Simple: Creating Passive Income with dividend stocks by Giovanni Rigters, was an awesome read. I purchased this book from Amazon via Kindle. I usually have a challenging time with Kindle books because I love having books to take notes in and highlight important parts from the text; however, while reading this book via Kindle, I had no issues at all. I was intrigued with every page as they were filled with knowledge for those like myself interested in investing in stock and have no idea where to start first. This book is great for those who are interested in investing and need some guidance in getting started. Without giving away too much, I do want to share that Rigters gave insight on ways to diversify your stock, in-depth questions on what to ask yourself when researching and analyzing the stocks to add to your portfolio, high quality dividend paying companies and so much more. As many know, investing in stocks can be intimidating, especially for those who are new to the market. This book gave me the extra push I needed to know that I can be successful in this field. I give this book a 5 out of 5 due to the transparency that the author provided in this book. Although I have the Kindle copy, I will purchase 3 of these books. One to keep for myself and two to give away to individuals who will benefit from this awesome resource.

A Box of Awesome Things - Official Review

A Box of Awesome Things Matching game is exactly what its title says! It is a matching game with cardboard cards and items like lava, fireflies, s’mores and more! I love the box that the cards come in. They are divided into four sections and by color and comes in a decorated box, so storage for these cards makes it very easy. I played this game with my two-year-old and he had a fun time playing this game. My oldest, whose nine, did not think the game was that fascinating and got bored fast; however, it is great for little ones who are learning matching skills. I rate this game a 3 out of 5 due to the lack of interest for older children. Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this game free in agreement to write a honest review on my blog. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements a...

The Dream Centered Life - Official Review

The Dream Centered Life: Discover What Drives You by Luke Barnett, is a must read for those who need a little push in putting thoughts into actions. As the author started in the beginning of the book, “everything starts with a dream”, is a reminder that anything worth having requires work and realization that God has plans for each of us. Barnett takes you on a journey of how he lost his dream only to go through the obstacles of finding it again. This book is needed for this time, as many people wonder who they are and what their true purpose involves. Burnett also teaches you that if you don’t have a dream or a purpose, you will live someone else’s. The Dream Centered Life is revelation for someone who is wondering in circles with no destination. I highly recommend and will be sure to give this book away as a raffle for an event or a Christmas gift.  This book can be found on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/Dream-Centered-Life-Discovering-What-Drives/dp/0735289654/ref...
No One Ever Asked, by Katie Ganshert is a page turner! I enjoyed every emotion and sentiment from each character's perspective. The story is about a  school district that loses its accreditation and the community of Crystal Ridge must open its doors to accept the students from the closed district. The views are from three very different women: Camille Gray--the wife of an executive, mother of three, long-standing PTA chairwoman and champion fundraiser--faced with a shocking discovery that threatens to tear her picture-perfect world apart at the seams. Jen Covington, the career nurse whose long, painful journey to motherhood finally resulted in adoption but she is struggling with a happily-ever-after so much harder than she anticipated. Twenty-two-year-old Anaya Jones--the first woman in her family to graduate college and a brand-new teacher at Crystal Ridge's top elementary school, unprepared for the powder-keg situation she's stepped into. This book speaks volumes to...
