How to Make Money Online - Official Review

In the book, How to Make Money Online: How to Grow a Passive Income in 20 Simple Steps, by Montina "Sparkwisdom" Portis, it discusses how we can live the dream of entrepreneurship by creating passive income streams and living off them. Portis does explain that creating these streams require lots of work and not for the faint of heart, but once those streams are going and you are making enough money, you can leave your 9-5 and live the life you want. Portis does explain the 20 income streams in detail and expresses that you do not have to do all of them at once; however, the average millionaire does have 7 streams of income, so you can choose the ones that work best for you. The one thing that I like best about this book is Portis's real-life experience. She is not giving advice based on what she thinks sounds good, rather, she talks about her own successes and failures which gives credibility to her work and research. The streams of income that Portis explains in her book are easy to research and quick to get started, but Portis does warn that generating the income you desire takes time, so if you are looking for something that will allow you to leave your job in 90 day, you may want to take another route. I purchased the book through Kindle, which provided links in the text for the resources she used. I give this book a 4.5 out of 5. I took off a half point because I did feel that if there was additional information that I needed, I would have to sign up for her class or purchase additional material and I just wanted to know the Streams of Income without having other products advertised to me. I do understand her marketing strategies and they have given her proven success, I just wanted to read the book and learn what I was seeking. I do recommend this book to anyone wanting to increase their income and have the financial freedom they have been seeking.

The Dream Centered Life: Discover What Drives You by Luke Barnett, is a must read for those who need a little push in putting thoughts into actions. As the author started in the beginning of the book, “everything starts with a dream”, is a reminder that anything worth having requires work and realization that God has plans for each of us. Barnett takes you on a journey of how he lost his dream only to go through the obstacles of finding it again. This book is needed for this time, as many people wonder who they are and what their true purpose involves. Burnett also teaches you that if you don’t have a dream or a purpose, you will live someone else’s. The Dream Centered Life is revelation for someone who is wondering in circles with no destination. Smart Investors Keep it Simple: Official Review

The book, Smart Investors Keep It Simple: Creating Passive Income with dividend stocks by Giovanni Rigters, was an awesome read. I purchased this book from Amazon via Kindle. I usually have a challenging time with Kindle books because I love having books to take notes in and highlight important parts from the text; however, while reading this book via Kindle, I had no issues at all. I was intrigued with every page as they were filled with knowledge for those like myself interested in investing in stock and have no idea where to start first. This book is great for those who are interested in investing and need some guidance in getting started.
